#1 Florida (6-0) (4-0) at Mississippi State (3-4) (1-2)
<-- Tom's Pick
After such a clutch win for the Gators last week at home it's hard to say they'd even lose a game if it were close. The Bulldogs lose the turnover battle horribly what seems like every week. The Gators had 4 turnovers against Arkansas and still won the game. MS State might play well for a few quarters but they don't have a chance. UF puts up some big ones for the critics. 52-17. #3 Alabama (7-0) (4-0) vs Tennessee (3-3) (1-2)
<-- Tom's Pick
Alabama showed last weekend that when they play a good defensive team, their own defense is even better. Bama will keep the laser lock on the Gators with another SEC win here at home. The Vols may have finally found their groove but it still isn't enough to beat this squad of all-americans. Maybe Eric Berry should play both sides of the ball, kick, and return kicks. Roll Tide! 31-10. Podcast Pat's Pick: Bama 28-16
#7 LSU (5-1) (3-1) vs Auburn (5-2) (2-2)
<-- Tom's Pick
This weekend Les Miles says they are ready to throw the ball deep. Watch and see. They've been off for two weeks working on it. They are ready for a rebound win to claim they are in fact a top 10 team. Auburn had the same chance last weekend after slipping up at Arkansas, but instead lost in the trenches to Kentucky, getting shut out in the 2nd half. The Tigers win this one, the purple and gold ones. LSU 35-27. Podcast Pat's Pick: LSU 28-21
#23 South Carolina (5-2) (2-2) vs Vanderbilt (2-5) (0-4)
<-- Tom's Pick
South Carolina managed to keep their top 25 ranking after losing to Bama, as Ole Miss did not. The Gamecocks have been solid on D excepting that one shoot out loss to UGA. They've played well enough to stay in the race for 2nd in the SEC east, and a win here will open the door for Steve Spurrier to have his best season at South Carolina. Vandy doesn't have a chance in this one. SC wins 38-12. Podcast Pat's Pick: USC 26-13
#27 Ole Miss (4-2) (1-2) vs Arkansas (3-3) (1-3)
<-- Tom's Pick
This might be a rebound for the Rebels or a turn around for the Hogs. The Razorbacks had the worst defense in the SEC two weeks ago, and still look pretty bad statistically, but they shut down Auburn and held the gators to 23 points while only losing by a last second field goal. Ole Miss finally looked deadly last weekend as they thrashed UAB. They haven't played very well against SEC teams thus far with a lonely win over Vandy (that wasn't pretty). This is the toughest game to call this week and I'll give the home team the edge. Go Rebels, they actually still have a smithering of a chance to catch up in the SEC west! 38-35 Podcast Pat's Pick: UM 30-24
