Florida finishes the season as the undisputed No. 1 team in our eyes. I would have liked to see USC in the title game, but OU was clearly the better contender for No. 1. There will always be 4 BCS winners outside the title game, people tend to forget that. If your team won their BCS game and didn't make the title and you're upset, well then you sure have a head start for next years preseason rankings. I disagree with Utah's elevation to No. 2 in the final AP poll. They would never have taken that spot while the season was still going on, never over a one-loss BCS juggernaut. Texas and USC, in my opinion, deserve higher rankings. I'm not even sure Penn and OU should be behind the Utes, but when you slip up twice in college football that's what happens. The Tide had the greatest regular season of them all, to fall twice in a row to the AP's top 2. Ouch. Bulldogs find their way back into the top 11 after beating the Spartans in the Capitol One Bowl. Oregon falls right behind them as the second best team in the nation with two losses. The Red Raiders suffered a crucial loss to Ole Miss (yeah that same team that beat the champs), but are still top 11 quality. V-Tech won the Orange Bowl, the ACC, beat a lot of good teams, and just seemed to me to be the best team outside the top 10 looking in.

Hey Thomas love the site! Do you think with teams like Utah, BYU, and TCU that the MWC should be a BCS conference? I'd also like to say that Wyoming finished 4-8 and 1-7 in the MWC. How in the world did they go into Neyland Stadium and beat the Vols! Well cause we suck but still.

I think the level of competition around the country has grown a lot. If they were to make another conference and "BCS" conference, I believe it should definitely be the MWC. But I don't think that would have helped them get to the title game this year
