A Prelude to the Picks

Only one game for the SEC this week and as always, we have the best game of the week. Even though the BCS controversy will continue outside of our conf., even though we all already know that whoever wins in Atlanta is the real National Champion, I love college football all over the country. I love picking these games! Who knows? We might just see someone we never expected to play the winner of our conference... Oklahoma? Texas? USC? Penn St? T-Tech? If there ever was a year for a play-off? This is my moment to argue someones point who doesn't have a voice in the AP, BCS, Harris, or any other poll that matters.
-I'm a SEC fan and I believe whoever wins our championship game should play for the national title, every year.
-I'm a Big 12 fan and I believe we should have a damn play-off. Can we get 4 teams in an 8-game play-off this year?
-I'm an ACC fan and I belive we should have whoever battles through our confenence in a play-off for the title!!
-I'm a Big Ten fan. I hate Big 12 fans and SEC fans even more. Please institute a play-off so we have a chance.
-I'm a Pac-10 fan, better said a USC fan. I'd love a play-off more than anybody, we'd be in it to win it since I was 12.
-I'm a Big East fan, was a Miami fan, now a South Florida fan since '04. Play-off please?
-I'm a Notre Dame fan. I've become quite the college basketball fan over the past few years.
-I think I speak for all the non-BCS conference fans when I say that not only do we need a play-off system, the final record of our conference champ shouldn't matter, we should be included in the play-offs. Even the NFL has byes for No. 1 seeds, so pencil us in. Jackson State made the NCAA Tournament in Men's Basketball last year for crying out loud! Yes, even an 8-5 Buffalo should compete, it's not like a 16 seed has ever even won a game.
