SEC Bowl Games
You know if they ever started breaking NCAA College Football down in to play-offs or brackets for tournaments, the SEC would always somehow come out with the hardest road possible to a National Championship Game. This year's bowl games are just another reason to point why the SEC is the toughest conference in college football. The SEC's combined bowl opponents records are 79-20, and every team is or has votes to be in the AP Top 25. Among others their opponents include the Big 12, MWC, and C-USA champs. Six of the eight SEC teams below are playing teams with better records, the other two being UF and UGA, who are tied with their opponents. If there ever was a year the SEC was on the ropes, this is it. The SEC really needs to win some games here to save face for the regular season. This isn't looking good. God bless Tebow.

Big XII Bowl Games
Does the Big 12 have enough offensive power to go 7-0 in their bowl games? They sure made it easy enough for it to be possible. If I were a betting man... maybe 6-1. The Big 12's combined opponents records are 62-23, and 5 of their opponents are ranked in the AP Top 25. Toughest game is easily the Big 12 Champ Sooners vs. the mighty Gators of the SEC. The rest of the Big 12 will surely be favored going in to their bowl games (as they should be). We're locked and loaded for another perfect year for a play-off, but for this year we'll still have bowl records to argue over the best conference, and the national champion of course. Let's just hope the Big XII doesn't go 7-0, and that the Sooners don't win the title and the Heisman.

I forgot to mention that the ACC leads the BCS conferences with 10 teams in bowl games. SEC is second with 8, Big 10 and Big 12 both have 7, the Big East 6, and the Pac-10 5.
from the looks of our bowls, i don't think the SEC will do better than 4-4. Vandy and LSU will get clobbered. I got a feeling the ACC could do pretty well since their leauge was so competitive.

Be a little more positive matt- we've got some good teams in our conference. everybody is so enamored with the big12 right now. we'll see. i think the sec will do fine in the bowls. at best 7-1. at worst 5-3.

5-3.. hey pat, wouldn't that be great!?
5-3 would be fantastic! We can hope.
The Big 12 has six 8-win teams. The SEC has just 3. The Big 12 may have gotten more favorable match-ups. But that's just because the SEC isn't as good. When's the last time a 7-5 SEC team played in the Peach? That is usually a 9 win team playing in that game.

Good point Scott, LSU was 10-2 the last time they played in the Peach
