So Saturday will finally determine whether or not we'll see the BCS vote a Big 12 South team into the Championship. I really like my #5 OU to win that game, and propel them past Texas and into the Big 12 Championship game. For now the Red Raiders continue to stand at No. 1 in our poll. Alabama gives AP voters reason to keep them No. 1 with a convincing win over Miss State. Florida is still on the war path to destroy anybody they got next, I don't care who it is. Texas and OU are pretty much a tie but Longhorns still have the edge with their Red River win. USC and Penn are close as well, some think to see Penn higher for beating the beavers at home… The remaining four is where our Top 11 gets tricky, #'s 8, 9, and 10 were all behind Utah last week, but ahead now. Bulldogs lost to UF and Bama. Mizzou lost to Ok St and Texas, & the Cowboys to Texas and Tech. Well now each team has 9 wins in their respective conferences, 9 wins I think Utah would not.

Nice Top 11 bro! I would like to point out to Thomas' regular readers that he had Texas Tech #1 before their game against Texas. If you're a betting man- jump on this train. He's usually right.
actually Pat I had Tech No. 2 hosting a No. 1 Texas, but the rest of the country had Tech at No. 7 or higher at the time. They became my new No. 1 after beating Texas, and have remained so ever since... and there's still an undefeated SEC team... madness.

huh, Florida, USC and Penn are the only teams in the Top 11 with losses to teams not in the Top 11.

can you give us your Florida vs Bama pick?

when championship weekend gets here, I'll pick a winner.
why do you have texas tech at #1 if you picked OU to beat them?
In my opinion, every team in the Top 5 is about the same, every year. I just love to see a No. 1 go down, especially to someone else in the Top 5 (in this case a team from the same division). Not to mention, add OU, Texas, Tech, Mizzou and Ok State's losses up to get 6 losses. 5 0f those 6 were lost on the road, to each other. Only loss at home was Mizzou losing to Ok State. So of course the home team has the edge, no matter if you're ranked 1, 2, or 10!
